VESSEL
Vessel was a short film that took about a month to produce in total. The heaviness of the scenes, mixed with the time spent rendering each shot was a very delicate process that appropriately deserves a spot within my projects collection. I had a lot of fun making this film and it sharpened my skills as a creator with the challenges it presented to me along the way.
I learned a tremendous amount about spline dynamics and volumes, while paying particular attention to the finer details of each element in my composition. I also learned that my pc cannot push out scenes that are larger than about 2.5 million polygons in total.. an absolutely absurd figure (very unoptimized at that point), but noted nonetheless for future reference.
